C'mon, Gals, Attack!

Fr. Raymond Gawronski’s article, “Why Was Christ a Male & Why Did He Ordain Only Men?” (Jan.-Feb.) is a faulty statement of the problem. He spent four pages on his distorted justification for not allowing the ordination of women.

Let’s look at his stated problem, adding just two words to make it correspond to the real problem: “Why was Christ a Jewish male and why did he ordain only Jewish men?” When the problem is stated thus, the conclusion, using Gawronski’s approach, is that only Jewish men can be ordained as priests.

C’mon, gals, attack!
