Silliness Has Serious Consequences
Across our desks has come an article titled “The Last Acceptable Prejudice.”
Hmmm, wonder what it could be? There are so many possibilities. Could it be prejudice against
– fundamentalists?
– Catholics?
– prolifers?
– Muslims?
– rednecks?
– sexually abstinent teenagers?
– men? fathers?
– stay-at-home moms?
– smokers?
Turns out the answer is: none of the above. The Last Acceptable Prejudice — hold your breath now — is against people who are overweight.
