For all we love to know

He gives us signs

and asks that we behold

the rest in faith.

He may prolong our wonder

or in a twinkling grant that we change eyes

for all we know…

For all we know of love

we learn to hope

and ask that he refine

these kindling hearts.

He may consume our passion

yet of His grace He pledges to provide

for all we love…
