'I Will Defend to the Death Your Right to Say It'
It is the common course in daily newspapers that prolifers are called "anti-abortion" and that pro-aborts are called "pro-choice." But we must be reminded that these are euphemisms.
According to LifeSiteNews (June 20), The New York Daily News, the sixth largest newspaper in the U.S., specifies in its writer guidelines that the word "prolifers" must be replaced with "abortion foes" or "abortion opponents." On the other hand, those who support abortion are given positive appellations, such as "abortion rights activists" and "pro-choice." The term "unborn child" is linguistically aborted, and is always designated a "fetus."
Why can't news reporters say what they want? Abortion is a hot topic, but the politically correct language police are everywhere.
Voltaire said, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." Obviously, the editors at The New York Daily News will not "defend to the death your right to say it." Voltaire was a liberal. The news outlets are, for the most part, run by liberals. Go figure.

|And for many decades we were told that in Russia and China, people were brainwashed, while people in America are 'well-informed'. Just go watch some YouTube videos! Even shows about the Korean War, it was an effective mechanism to show Americans that their soldiers were fighting Communists monsters who didn't have families, no emotions, no identity, no humanity...You start to wonder whose political leaders lied more to their own people. Watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f12NAaLX3B4&feature=related.
Warning, this might be hazardous to your bigotry. It might really test your adherence to JPII's & B16's admonition: "Man (regardless of nationality) is made in the image and likeness of God". You wonder if Playboy & Penthouse magazines will not be proliferating all over the mainland China, if the Koumintang won. And you also wonder if the 1B+ people of China will really in better shape economically, had the country been under the 'benevolent' tutelage of the 'Land of the Free.' Maybe you should ask the Filipinos, who were 'granted' independence by 'Uncle Sam'.
